Not Medical Advice
I am not a doctor or healthcare professional. All information, recipes, travel guides, coaching services, and programs on The Nomadic Fitzpatricks are provied as educational information to assist people living with celiac disease or who follow a gluten-free diet, and reflects research, trial and error, and experience I have from living with celiac disease. All information is provided as a self-help tool, not a substitute for medical medical treatment or care.
The Nomadic Fitzpatricks does not cure, treat, prevent, or diagnose any disease. Please consult your own doctor, medical professional, or nutritionist for any medical concerns or conditions you may have, including celiac disease treatment or care.
Celiac Disease/Gluten-Free Diet
Everyone's experiences, needs, and comfort levels with celiac disease and/or the gluten-free diet are different. Some people only eat products that are certified gluten-free. Others do not. Please use your own discretion and comfort levels when reviewing the products, ingredients, and other gluten-free information on this website. I can only speak to my personal experience with celiac disease, which may be different from yours.
Ask questions and do your own research before eating anywhere. There is always a risk when going out to eat with celiac disease. My experiences may be different from yours. Restaurants, businesses, and menus may change. I can only comment on my experience at that time and I only recommend places where I felt safe eating. Always double-check everything you read online to make sure it is up to date.
Products and ingredients are subject to change. Always double-check ingredients before cooking or baking gluten-free recipes.
I am not responsible for the outcome of the recipes you try from this website. While I do my best to offer as much information and guidance as possible, I am not in the kitchen with you. I don't know your personal abilities in cooking or baking. Your recipes may turn out differently than mine for a number of reasons, including your cooking abilities, the altitude, oven temperature, or even the gluten-free products you use.
Please be aware that if one of my recipes calls for gluten-free flour, I typically use Cup4Cup or Bob's Red Mill 1:1 Baking Flour for a dairy-free option. If you use a different flour blend when making my recipes, your results may differ. Gluten-free flour blends are not all equal, and the components of each flour blend can lead to completely different end results.
The nutrition information on each recipe card is provided as a courtesy and for your convenience. The data is calculated by Nutritionix. You are encouraged to make your own calculations based on your ingredients and preferred nutritional facts calculator. While I try to make sure they are accurate, I cannot guarantee the accuracy of these calculations.
Posts on this website may contain affiliate links in which I may be compensated in some manner but are at no additional cost to you. As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases. Please note that I only share honest reviews when it comes to recommending gluten-free products, travel gear, and brands. I only share brands that I use myself and would recommend to others.
