Hey celiac friend!

Are you worried you're bothering people with your gluten-free diet, and nervous to speak up for yourself?
You're in the right place!
My name is Jen, and I'm a celiac coach.
I help you become a confident advocate with celiac disease to travel the world & enjoy your gluten-free life to the fullest.
Please note that as of August 2023, I am not offering 1:1 coaching options at this time. Please see my online courses/masterclasses for self-paced options for traveling & dining out or join the Confident Celiac Community for live group coaching. Thank you!
Here's the Truth:
Getting a celiac disease diagnosis isn't a quick switch.
It's a complete lifestyle change that can turn your entire social life upside down!
So if you're frustrated, overwhelmed, or burnt out by dining out, traveling, or attending an event with celiac..
I've been there too.
I Was Once In Your Shoes...
When I was diagnosed with celiac disease in 2009, I had no advice from my doctor except "don't eat gluten."
I got sick in restaurants, struggled to travel without getting sick, and felt like I was burdening people with my diet, all while developing additional GI problems that took years to heal.
Now I offer 1:1 coaching services to help you avoid those mistakes, enjoy traveling & dining gluten-free, and become a confident celiac advocate!
Why I'm Different As A Coach
Teaching is in my Blood
Before starting my business, I was a high school Spanish teacher for 10 years and earned my Master's Degree in Curriculum & Teaching. Being coached by me is like being a student in my classroom - where you're treated with respect and encouraged to be the best version of yourself. This is a safe space, and there is no judgement here.
Research-Based & Allergen Trained
I have four restaurant allergen trainings to help you dine out as safely as possible. I work closely with a dietitian that specializes in celiac disease to ensure my recommendations are up to date. I also only reference reputable evidence-based sources of information when giving advice to clients. I know my scope, and I stay in my lane.
I Struggled For Years
Going gluten-free was supposed to be the end of my problems, but it was only the beginning. I spent 10+ years struggling with Chronic Urinary Tract Infections, Small Intestine Bacterial Overgrowth, Lactose Intolerance, and Irritable Bowel Syndrome - Diarrhea Type. It took a long, long time to figure out all of those problems and heal from them. And I want you to avoid all of that trouble and pain so you can quickly get back to taking a vacation, going out to a restaurant, or attending a party!
How Celiac Coaching Will Change Your Life
Compassion & Community
Learning from someone that's been gluten-free for over a decade will quickly give you the relief and peace you're searching for. Plus, you're speaking to someone that has been in your shoes and understands exactly what you are going through with celiac because they GET IT. Like feeling weird that your dinner order takes 5x longer than the person next to you, or bringing your own snack to a wedding!
Mindset & Skill-Building
You're going to have celiac disease the rest of your life, and your mindset with this diagnosis matters. By talking with someone who can coach you through the tough social moments, the times where you feel like you're being a bother, or that you're not doing enough (you are, you're doing awesome!), this is what will help you move forward, continue practicing, and keep improving your celiac skills, one step at a time.
Self-Confidence & Independence
Because when you feel included and validated in your struggles, when you have someone helping you through your challenges and showing you what is possible....that's when you will feel confident doing this on your own.
And when you successfully dine out at a restaurant, speak up for your diet at a family gathering, or take the vacation you've been afraid of going on for months...
That's what celiac coaching can do for you - empower you with the confidence, tools, and mindset to travel the world, eat in non-dedicated restaurants, attend parties, and live your gluten-free life to the fullest!
And you'll be so proud of yourself because YOU did that. You made it happen.
